Design & Look
Well after seven years and several updates, this is what TVS flagship Motor cycle has come to the RR 310 now gets these winglets which TVS claims, generate up to 3 kg of down force. The average winglet of a moto GP bike provide up to 18 kg of down force, Well after 300 km per hours.

There’s also the addition of this transparent clutch cover. Which I think look dam cool and other than these 2 updates there’s also this new bomber grey colour which I feel look fantastic.
Performance
My be TVS could’ve done something to the front end or even the tail light (Engine 312.2cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder) of the RR 310 now makes “38 HP” and “29 NM of peak torque”. Which is 4HP and 2NM more than before.
Thanks to a lighter forged piston a larger throttle body and bigger air box. All of which translate to a higher compression ratio and has given the RR 310 the bumper in performance that is quite needed.
The power delivery is linear and there is a noticeable surge from the midrange. Specifically after @5000 rpm all the way to the top (5 gearbox setup).
Handling
The RR 310 long swingrm and short wheel base (1,365mm) have always made it a great handle. Weight in at 175kg and now paired with Michelin road 5 tyre ( Front: 100/70-17) ( Rear: 150/60-70 ). It strikes a sweet balance between outright acceleration cornering and filtering through traffic (front brake: 300mm disc, Rear: 240mm disc). Coming to a complete halt just like that.
Ergonomics & Ride Quality
The Apache RR 310 is first and foremost a sports tourer (ground clearance 180mm). The riding triangle is comfortable with a seat height of 810mm, that’s easily accessible.

Now if you the dynamic kit you get this fully adjustable KYB suspension unit at the front (fully adjustable KYB USD fork) and Rear (monoshock) That beautifully soaks up undulations. The best Part a few clicks it allow you to adjust it to your liking you’re out for a track day or heading out for a long tour.
City riding & Heating
If you’re someone who commute a lot through the city, then heat might be an issue for you but on the RR 310. The cooling system is quite remarkable it’s dropped from 108 degree to 102 degree. Quite fast as soon as you start moving the cooling temperature drop down quite fast and back to normal.

If you still want more there’s the dynamic pro kit (sets you back another 16,000). It gives you IMEO access based feature like cornering traction control, wheel control, cornering ABS, Rear lift off control, cornering Cruise Control and such.
Pricing
The base variant which costs Rs. 2.7lakh ( onwards EX showroom ). Fully loaded it will deplete your bank account up to Rs. 3.31 lakh.
Conclusion
In the end, the RR 310 is a tech loaded eager to accelerate motorcycle with a do it all personality but it’s not perfect. The vibrations at higher speeds can be bother some and the fuelling could use some refinement especially at lower speed.
These pearks remind you that while the RR 310 is a capable machine it still has a lot of room to grow. What it does get right through is the balance between style performance and practicality.
The updated suspension, improve engine, modern tech features. Make it a solid choice for riders who value versatility over outright aggressive.
