Australia: 150 Pods of False Dolphin Died Rescue In Tasmania: Dozen of dolphins have died after a pod of more than 150 were stranded on a remote beach in Australia’s Southern island of Tasmania.
They appear to be members of a large dolphin species knows as false killer whales named for the Oracle like shape of their skull.

Now a part of 157 dolphins from a poorly understood deep sea species was believed to have been started in the past 48 hours.
Approximately 90 still alive as of Wednesday morning. It is reasonably common for Pods of False killer whales to be stranded on Australia beach but an expert said that it was the first time in 50 years. They had beaches in that part is Tasmania.

The department of Natural Resources and environment said that marine life experts and veterinarians were at the site.
Reason
The reason for these dolphins false killer rails to be stranded is not known yet. They were found on an isolated beach in the island north west coast about 400km from the state capital Hobart.

Now this species of dolphins can grow upto 20ft and weight up to 1361.1kg.

Spek: however these are false killer whales and it is our first large mass stranding of these animals in around 50 Years. It’s currently an early stage in the response and so assessments are ongoing. Therefore some details are limited and yet to be confirmed.
