This is japanese player in our market is kawasaki which will be launching updates to important big bikes in our country in 2025.First up is the Versys 1100 the big versus is a taller sibling to the ninja 1100SX which was launched just a few weeks back both the 1100s are now much closer under their familiar skin than befere.
The big change on the Versys is the new liquid cooled 1099cc in line 4 engine that makes 136 horsepower and 113 NM this is the same output as the ninja 1100 visually the 1100 is near indistinguishable from the earlier 1000 and the electronic suite is also carried over the ninja 1100 SX saw a price of rupees 1.3lakh when it launched so expect a similar move for the Versys 1100 when it launches year.
Unlike the Versys 1100 the changes to the z900 are much more substantial with new styling as well as a whole host of electronic AES beacuase the bike finally gets right by wire as an IMU.
This permits a z900 to now have riding modes a bidirectional quick shifter and cruise control.The engine has now been updated to meet the latest emission standards output has fallen ever so slightly in the process now making 123horsepower and 97.4 NM in the process the z900 has also gained an additional kilo.
Now tipping the scales at 213KS there’s also a higher SE variant with better cycle paths which will also be launched alongside the base model expect the rupees 9.38 lakh price tag of the current z900 to rise when the new one gets.
